VISION IMPAIRMENT clearly!
The hazards normal sight people see, can be a very real danger to the visually impaired.
VISUALLY IMPAIRED
Identifying Hazards:
Around the home, at work or even playing in the park can become a nightmare for those around us who are partially sighted. Step edges for example can be very difficult to judge.
However with the fitting of high viz step nosings this problem is easily overcome. Not only does this nosing give great step edge definition but it is also anti-slip.

Poles & posts - Eye level definition
With the application of bright Yellow tape around these posts and poles they are no longer a threat to the visually impaired.
The different heights of the tapes improves visibility of the poles for those who walk looking slightly down and forward.
Tactile dots and directional markers - Hazard identification for the visually impaired
Tactile dots can be used to indicate either a change in gradient or step / trip hazard, with tactile bars directing the visually impaired person to the hazard.
As well as the tactile dots and bars being installed indicating a hazard, you can also paint hand rails bright yellow, and install yellow WizardGrip bare foot grade step nosings. This creates an area that now offers great protection against slip/ trip accidents happening for a visually impaired person.
Uneven ground, ramps and edges, change of terrain
Uneven ground such as a drain sump and gully can be a real problem due to the undulation around the gully. The bright yellow surround can bring this uneven surface to the pedestrian's attention. For additional safety, anti slip paint can be used.
